Ranking of Top National Basketball Camps & Showcases

As we prepare to rank the top players in the area, we wanted to rank the top Basketball Camps and Showcase in the country. This is a question always asked by a lot of people. We are combining College Exposure, Instruction and Competition in our rankings.

1. Hoop Mountain PA National Basketball Camps and Recruiting Showcases: Combination of great staff and great relationship with College Coaches. The director is Daryn Freedman, a nine-year D1 Assistant Coach. As an example of their power in college exposure, after an event that was held in Pittsburgh this October, over 30 kids who were not being recruited by Division 1 School started hearing from D1 Schools. A number of them received D1 Offers within weeks. Around 100 players received Division 2 Recruiting or Offers after the same event. Hoop Mountain will be holding a number of National Recruiting Showcases this Spring and Summer and debuts at its new facility, Family First Sports Park, one of the top basketball facilities in the USA this summer!

2. Hoop Mountain New England/New York: Greg Kristof and Steve Gibbs have taken this camp to great heights. They have a great staff and also a great relationship with many college coaches. In the last few years, players such as Tucker Halpern and Kyle Casey have come through their doors. Hoop Mountain will hold a number of camps and showcases this summer.

3. Nike Basketball Camps: They have change their ways of running camps but are at the top of the Sneaker companies. Over the past few years, the Steve Nash Point Guard Academy and the Lebron James Skills Academy have been tremendous camps.

4. Eastern Invitational: This is a great camp to get noticed if you go the right week and are in the top league.

5. Pangos Camps: These Californioa-based camps get many of the best West Coast players every year.
